DULAAH places experienced doulas on-shift in Labor & Delivery so birthing patients who want doula support can receive it in real time—without delays, gaps, or barriers. We work with hospitals to integrate doulas into existing workflows and provide consistent, culturally responsive care, emotional and physical support and non-medical advocacy when it matters most.

Hospital-Based Doula Support
DULAAH places trained, professional doulas in hospital maternity units to provide continuous non-medical support to laboring patients. Our doulas are integrated into the care environment and work collaboratively with nursing and clinical staff.
Medi-Cal Doula Access Program
California's Medi-Cal program covers doula services for eligible members. DULAAH supports families in accessing this benefit and helps doulas navigate the Medi-Cal enrollment and billing process.
Doula Workforce Development
We invest in the professional growth of doulas through training, mentorship, and pathways into hospital-based practice. Our goal is a skilled, diverse, and sustainable doula workforce.
